A dialogue with a major work
Between the skyline and the time of stopovers, the work of Hugo Pratt (1927-1995) questions the geographies and cultures of the world.
Hugo Pratt's albums are enriched with references linked to museum ethnographic collections and dialogue with witnesses of multiple civilizations, at the whim of a creator who considered curiosity as the first of his qualities.
The whole of this very immersive catalogue offers a journey through the artist's work thanks to numerous original, or even unpublished, plates from the archives and photographs, notably by the famous Swiss photographer Marco D'Anna, in keeping with Hugo Pratt's aesthetic universe.
