Les constellations de Varengeville

French language

On the occasion of the Miró exhibition (Barcelona, 1893-Palma de Mallorca, 1983) the writer Adrien Goetz wanted to write a work of fiction in the Cartels collection.
A piano in the centre of Miro's Labyrinth at the Maeght Foundation: Alain Planès rehearses before the evening concert. Guilem, a young documentary filmmaker, is shooting a report. He doesn't know that this man, whose friend he will become, knew Miró well in Mallorca. He only thinks of his friend Felicia, a journalist on assignment in Barcelona. He would like to be with her. Against the backdrop of the Catalan revolt, Guilem discovers that politics can threaten love, that music is sometimes necessary to understand painting, and that Miró, who inspired only vague ideas, speaks to him in a language he had never heard before.
