Constitutional Council Quote Bracelet

In a decision of 31 January 2020, the Constitutional Council ruled that the protection of the environment, a common human heritage, is an objective of constitutional value by virtue of the preamble to the 2004 Environment Charter.

Since 1 March 2015, the latter has included "a humanist ecology at the heart of our republican pact" in the constitutionality block.
