In the footsteps of Gustave Eiffel

Relying essentially on Gustave Eiffel's correspondence, and his descendant's testimonies, this documentary filmed chronologically retraces his life as a man, an engineer and an inventor.

The film highlights the best known and least-known periods: the meteoric accomplishments, often times punctuated by advsersity, followed by a scientific carreer when he turned 70.
