Stole inspired by the most famous painting on the theme of the Wedding in Cana. It was painted for the refectory of the Benedictine monastery of San Giorgio Maggiore. The painter represented this biblical scene in the middle of a Venetian festival.

The legend says that one can see among the guests several sovereigns of the time: among others François Ier, Marie Iere, Charles Quint; as well as several artists including Veronese.
