Angel (cherub) - Fleur-de-Lis - Sun King pendants : These three little drop earrings are inspired by the various motifs of the Château de Versailles.
The angel is portrayed in the different fountains who punctuate the gardens of Versailles and on furnishing bronzes. The winged child symbolise the eternal youth.
The fleur-de- Lis is very present at Versailles: tapestries, hangings, gates of the castle. The French arms are composed of three gold fleur-de-Lis on an azure background.
The emblem of the sun results from one sculpted and gilded door in the salon of Venus in the King's apartments. Louis XIV chose the sun as his emblem, symbol of Apollo, the god of harmony and protector of the Sciences and Arts.
